Files stored on OMS Cloud must follow our procedures and guidelines.
To maintain performance and security of OMS Cloud, we are committed to providing your company the best possible service while keeping your data safe, secure, and reliably accessible. With this in mind, we must enforce certain policies while using OMS Cloud.
5 GB Storage Limit
Every company logged onto OMS Cloud is provided 5 GB of storage. If your company requires more than 5 GB, additional charges will apply.
No Permanent File Storage is Allowed
The file system is provided as a temporary solution for your company to temporarily download spreadsheets, PDFs, or any document relevant to OMS. With that in mind, we do not allow long term file storage of any files on OMS Cloud.
File Deletion Policies
To ensure the security of our platform and performance considerations, we have implemented a rolling deletion policy for any non-essential files. Non-essential files are any files that are not relevant to running OMS Cloud.
- All files that are in your personal account's documents ("My Documents") will be deleted every 7 days.
- All files in your shared drive ("Z Drive") except for image files (e.g. "jpg", "png") will be deleted every 90 days.
- All audio and video files types (e.g. .mp4, .avi, .wmv, .mp3) will be removed every 24 hours for both personal and shared folders and drives.
Again, OMS Cloud is not intended to be a permanent file storage system, and we strongly advise that you download and save any important files.
Once deleted from OMS Cloud, these files cannot be recovered.
