Connect a custom domain to Pavo to publish your content for Pavo B2B and Sales Rep Portal.
Connect your domain to Pavo to take orders and display products on Pavo-hosted websites. The type of site you can display on your domain will depend on your subscription.
This is only applicable if you have a Pavo B2B or Pavo Sales Rep Portal website.
Before you get started
- In order to connect your custom domain, you will need access to update your DNS records. Ensure you have login details for your DNS provider and access to your DNS records.
- DNS records are typically hosted on sites such as Namecheap, Google Domains, Network Solutions, or GoDaddy.
Connecting a new domain
- On Pavo Admin, go to Website or Sales Rep Portal, depending on which site you wish to connect a domain
- On the left sidebar, go to Advanced
- On the tab, click on Domains
- Click on Add Domain on the right side of the table
- Enter the domain you wish to use
- If you wish to connect both your root domain (mastersystem.com) and your subdomain (www.mastersystem.com), you must enter both domains.
For the next step, you'll need to login to your DNS provider and update your DNS records.
Master System does not have access to your domain and DNS records. If you have trouble setting up your domain or accessing your DNS records, you must work with your domain provider or your IT contacts.
- On your DNS records, set your A record to 52.88.59.49, and the host field as the subdomain you wish to connect to Pavo.
- If you are looking to connect your root domain as well, add an additional A record with the @ host
Once complete, contact your Master System Account Manager that you have connected your custom domain to Pavo. Master System will work on forwarding your custom domain to the Pavo hosted website with SSL certificates. It may take up to 24 hours for the domain to be fully registered.
